RE: i hate climbers
I love climbers, went many years without one and finally purhcased a cheap ($89) Hunters View 10 point stand.
Light, never makes a sound, shoulder straps make it easy to carry. Comfortable.
I have two wooden ladder stands (semi-perm) that I hunt out of but you can't beat the
flexibility of my climber for moving arond where the deer sign is.
My climber is A O.K. !!
