I have already learned a lot from just reading the post on this Forum. You Guys have a great site here.

Just wondering if there are any hunters, who are familiar with the state of Colorado who would be willing to share some info? We will be hunting 1st combined Rifle Hunt(Elk and Bear). When you puchase a OVER THE COUNTER LICENSE (Elk, Bear) is it good for the whole state? Has anyone ever hunted the San Juan Mountains near Delores? How is the harvest looking this year? I hear the Bear activity is pretty good this year. Hows the weather, Game activity, Acorn harvest? I know these are a lot of Questions, but believe me we need all the help we can get. We will be driving out (30 hrs straght through one way). There will be three in our hunting party, we are all Safe/Ethical Hunters and look forward to spending some time in the beautiful state of Colorado.
