I read into that just as everyone else had. I'm glad you restated your position on "our" buck. If you're trying to manage the land for trophies then definately set some rules. Personally I like the shoot it and mount it rule that someone had posted about. Let them thin the does and if they want the buck bad enough then the shell out $350.00 to mount it. IMO it's a great way to keep people from shooting dinks.

I'm sorry to hear he lost the deer. When had this happened? I kick him square in the pants if he gave it a 45 minute look and gave up on it. A downed deer deserves a couple days of looking . I'f he didn't give it that I kick him square off my property. Just my $0.02 that's all
