I see the same thing with almost ALL of the bowhunters i know around here--they are basically clueless about working on their own stuff. These are the guys that buy a bow 2 or 3 weeks before season and shoot maybe 50 arrows preparing for season and think they are ready to hunt. They also don't scout much if any, they go put up stands the week before season and they only hunt for an hour or two and they go stomping back to the car after a HARD day of hunting. These folks will only bag a deer by dumb luck and nothing more.I have helped many of them get their bows and arrows ready but i can't control the way they go about hunting--It's a shame they spend all that money and think they are now hunters!I'm betting that a high number of these weekend warriors have someone else gut the deer for them also either because they have no knife or just don't like "that part of hunting"[:@].I could go on and on but i'll stop here--for now.
