Not me guys, my bow is cranking my b-heads right in there out to 40 yards. It seems everyone else is having some sort of problem.
Yesterday, my sisters boyfriend had his bow at my place and was shooting. His groups were terrible, even when he shot at 15 yards! Well, I looked it over and noticed that his timing was off and a few other problems. I called up my buddy who works on my bow and we took his down there. Well, the bow is a dual cam HCA and the cams were out of sync! Also, his "proshop" had installed his cables the wrong way when he got them changed. They were crossing above the cable guard instead of below. Then, after getting these fixed he shot through paper and the bow wasn't tuned! Well, the arrow rest had been set up improperly so it had to be reset and the spring tension had to be adjusted! After the rest was fixed, he shot through paper and it was nock low left. Some adjustments later and the bow is tuned perfectly! Well, he called me today as he was shooting at his house and he said that he is grouping much better now, but he is shooting 1-1/2" to the left with every shot! No biggie EXCEPT that when he moved his site to compensate, it doesn't do anything! Tommorow I will check it out and try to help him out. He hasn't even had time to shoot his broadheads yet! Has anybody ever heard of this type of thing, where adjustments to the sight don't work?
Well, if that wasn't bad enough, my best friend called me today. He had his bow out shooting today and with field points, he is stacking them in the bullseye out to 45 yards. Well, he strapped on his thunderheads and shot. He shot at 15 yards and he was getting awsome groups except they were about 2" high and 2" to the left. Well, he then stepped back to 25 yards and shot and he was 3" low and 3" to the right. When he stepped back to 35 yards, he was getting bullseyes! So, now tommorow we have to try and fix this problem. I am gonna spin check his arrows and make sure that they are fine. It just seems odd that he is getting good groups in a diagonal line especially since the bow has been paper tuned and group tuned! If we can't figure out what is happening with his t-heads, I am gonna throw one of my Montecs on and see how he does, if that doesn't work, we are gonna put some Rocky MT Snypers on and see what happens.
Geez...... these people are my friends, but talk about dumb [:-]

Why would you wait till a few days before season to check these type of things out. Granted, I have my bow ready to go, but I still have alot of work to do before Saturdays opener. I have to gather all of my hunting clothes, wash them, gather all of my gear, make sure it is all scent free. Tommorow my new Deer Cam DC-200 should be here so I am gonna take that to one of the areas I plan on leaving along till the end of October and set it up. I have to check my Stealth Cam that is set-up. I have gotta get new shrink tubbing to put on my climbers cables, ect. ect..
