every year when the hunting season ends I take all my hunting wear (pants shirts jackets backpack gloves etc.) and wash them in unscented uv free detergent then hang them in th sun after they are dry I put them in a plastic bag of some kind with some twigs,leaves,bark,sage,weeds anything I can collect from my favorite hunting grounds seal them in the bag with my gear. Then I store them in a cool dry place, you don't want to put them in a damp place or they will get musty.
