I would say the chances of being bitten are extremely slim and even much smaller that you would be bitten above your rubber boots. However, it is going to happen then I would think the chances would be much higher of you getting bitten above the boot by a rattle snake than a cotton mouth or copper head. Sometimes when the rattlesnakes coil up they also raise up so when they strike, they strike higher than the other two. Either way I would say that you chances are pretty slim.
