In my area, I start seeing rutting action in late October. I call this the chase phase. I would say the best part to hunt would be during the chase phase into and through about the first week of November. I would say the rut peaks at about Nov. 15, but I don't think this is the best time to hunt because bucks will be with the does already and wont move as much until they have bred the doe.
