I get old white 100% cotton T-shirts anywhere I can (garage sales and you name it.. old white cotton socks also work also) and cut them up into squares. I then mix a 50/50 solution of isopropyl alcohol and car windshield washer fluid. I soak a patch ring it out and work it in short strokes through the barrel from muzzle to breech. Turn it over and do the other side of the patch. If I want to reload right away, I will run a dry one through there and then that is the next one that I will wet the next time I swab....
