I think it would be very difficult to time it right. I very much doubt that you hit the memory card unless you're a poor shot. If you came across this sinero can I ask a question? Why not hang a sign where the camera was requesting that they contact you about getting their camera back.

I hate nothing more then tresapssers but destroying the cam makes no sense. IMO
