I hunt snakes frequently. I just wear my everyday western boots. They have defeated every snake thus far. I bought some of those chaps, but they get hot so I don't like to wear them. Prime hunting is from Oct. to April. They congregate around their dens. Only problem is when the weather turns warm and the snakes get further away from their dens than I am expecting them to be. Good for the cardio, helps raise the heart rate.
