I don't care if I shoot it once a day, it will get torn down and cleaned once a day if I do that. I always put breech plug greese on the breech plug and nipple threads each cleaning. I want my muzzleloader reliable, and also want to hunt with confidence knowing its not going to misfire from not cleaning it the way I do.
