Use an online map site. You can get good topo and aerial photos from them. Great for scouting!!!! I use www.mapcard.com, it cost a little bit for a membership, but you can print as many maps as you want.

The way I use it, is I take my GPS with me, get the Coordinates and then I'm able to pull up the maps.
