I have many slug guns with the cantilever, 1 being the mossberg 500 this shotgun is a really good firearm. All you need are the rings, but take it to a good gunsmith allow them to mount the scope, and bore sight it. If your going to use it for what you send, then leave the scope on 3 and no more then 4 power. I have great luck using the Lightfield EXP Hybred 2-3/4" slugs.
