On the cantilever rail/barrel, Mossberg says it is an integral scope base. To me that means you don't need another base, just rings that work with the integral base. That is good. One less thing to loosen on you.

I do think weaver style rings will work. I have never been real crazy abouth them. I will say they have never failed on me though.
