I think an argument could be made that phases 3 and 4 could be interchanged, and often overlap. I find myself buying a lot of latest greatest, after a lot of research, in my attempt to outsmart the trophy buck I am after.

At any rate, I am in between 3 and 4, delving into each and having a lot of fun with it. I am 38, but still relatively new to archery hunting, so I may be in my 50's before I hit stage 5. I do enjoy the whole hunting experience, but still get disappointed if I don't score on a decent buck by the end of the season.
