Well, having weighed in on the previous post you mentioned in defense of the originator, I'll add my two cents to this one as well.

Yes, in my opinion it would be more of a 'trophy'. Likewise, if it was taken with a spear, more of a 'trophy' than with a long bow. Take it with a knife, more of 'trophy' than with a spear. Wrestle it to the ground and break it's neck, better trophy than with a knife. Or you can pull a Davy Crockett and 'grin it' into surrendering and falling on it's own antlers.

My obvious opinion is that the more primitive you get, the greater the accomplishment. The greater the accomplishment, the greater the trophy.
