7# rifle with scope. A little too light for me, but it will be a Missouri deer hunter. Things I don't like about it...modernish looking, synthetic trigger guard; tail end on the bolt, I think, is synthetic material. I don't like detachable clips in hunting rifles ($55 for a spare!) but many people do, and they sell.
My exact sentiments and the multiple piece bolt looks unusal..looked at one yesterday in 270 . I may buy over the 1A ruger I was looking at . You hear very few complaints about Tikka's that is for sure. It was 445 dollars with scope rings. I will really get sick if I have to pay 55 bucks for the magazine on it though. I can get a Stainless Steel "METAL" detachable magazine for my Sako 75 for about the same price. For 95% of the hunting I do it will be plenty of rifle.
