Default RE: Contender Handguns, anyone?

I own a Contender Super 14 also. This seems to be the most popular. I have the 7-30 and a 22 LR for plinking. Killed 2 deer with the 7-30. I handload and use 120 gr Hornady Single Shot Pistol bullets.
If I do my part, the contender will shoot sub MOA groups. If you don't handload and are thinking about using it for hunting deer/black bear, I would recommend the 7-30 or the 35 Rem. Both are ballistically better than the 30-30.
ps: I had an Encore carbine in 7-08 that wouldn't shoot better than 2 MOA no matter what I put in it.
