Yes, SC has an opening date of Aug.15th-Jan.1st in the swamps/low country. The longest season and most liberal limits.
A few years ago, I hunted from mid-Sept-Thanksgiving Day and put 17 deer in the freezer and the Ruger back on the rack...Freezer full....
