I would like to know if the 30-06 cal. is enough to hunt the Moosehead and Deer if we have to make some shots between 100 yds and 300 yds..

We have also to consider the fact that I live in a smalltown and we don't have a lot of disponibily on the cartridge...

answer would be really pleased .....
The old '06 is good from mice to moose, with a few big bears and an occasional pachyderm thrown it, provided you use the right bullet....
