I've actually got my head down so my shiny white face doesn't ruin the effect. Its pretty wide open but I do plan to practice with it a lot.
I think the burlap would be fine as a blind, I just didn't want to smell like that all the time. I washed it in all the scent remover soaps i could find, baking soda, even some industrial strength carbon powder.
