I did put one on it. I went with the small tru glo nullifier ($20) and it did improve the recoil. I was debating not putting one on it for the same reasons (plus it aint lite). It is quiet and well balanced but I have to say it has made a little bit of a difference in the recoil. The best advantage to it is being able to still be pointing at the target once the arrow is gone.

I could not be happier with the Outback, I had an FX that I liked but I think I am in love!
