my vote is for the 10/22. i have and old mosburg that will shoot 1.5 inchs at 100 yards i have an older remington pump with the octogon barrel that shoots well under and inch at 50 yards. i have a marlin bolt that won't shoot for shi%. i have a ruger 96 and i like it a lot. i had a chance to shoot and use a 10/22 for about 2 weeks and put around 500 rounds threw it. wow what fun!

however if i could start all over and only own 1 22 for everything i think i would buy a sako, cooper, kimber or a Anschutz. i would rate these 4 as top of the line 22's that will last forever. or you could buy 410/22's instead of one of the others and they would do about the same thing
