its all about shot placement im sure 45 pounds will go through a shoulder probably not the second one, but if you shoot right behind where ur supposed to u will do a good bit of damage and most likely a passthrough all depending on what u hit...ribs etc. and broadheads u use i shoot 60 pounds and blew right through my deer last year and the year b4 i spine shot the deer but it broke his backbone so im sure 45 pounds is plenty
