Default RE: Scoring a Turkey

add the weight, double the beard, and 10 times the average of the spurs.

Lets say you have a 20 lb turkey with a 10 1/2 inch beard and one spur at 1 1/4 inch and 1 spur at 1 3/4 inches (to make the math easier)

weight=........................................... .20
beard x 2=.........................................21
spur= [(1 1/4 + 1 3/4)divided by 2]x 10...15
.................................................. ..---
.............................................score 56

I couldn't find the "oficial" scoring, but I think this is one of the more common formulas.

Can someone confirm this for us?
