Default RE: IBO Worlds... some things to say

I love SnowShoe and the terrian its held on. But I live in WV and the weather and the steep slopes are normal conditions for me. Iam a very easy going and I can put up with a lot of crap in order to do the sport I love. But for the last two years I have taken my wife and two daughters to the worlds with me. My wife dosent shoot but we both like to see our children have a good time at the future bowhunters shoot. But for the last two years we havent been able to do that because the kids end up leaving the shoot in tears because they dont understand why they didnt get called for a prize they are two and five and its hard to make them understand at that age. The future bowhunters shoot is supposed to be non conpettative but when you take 107 score cards and draw 50 to 60 kids names out and the rest dont get a prize it becomes compettative. Also several months ago I talked to BowPro on this forum and in person at Erie and asked if their could be some 10yd practice buts set up for the kids at snowshoe. I was very disapointed to see their wasent anything for my kids to shoot at snowshoe. But what I was really upset about was their was 107 kids that signed up at $10.00 a peice and their wasent enough ( donated ) prizes for all the kids. Their are people that work hard at raising money to get prizes for these shoots and about a year ago I contacted the IBO and asked what I could do to help raise money to get prizes for the kids at the worlds. I had the company I work for and the union I belong to willing to give money to this shoot. I was told by a lady at the Ibo and I quote ( I DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR REASONS ARE FOR WANTING TO DO THIS BUT THEIR ARE OTHER FUTURE BOWHUNTERS SHOOTS BESIDES SNOWSHOE.) After that remark I got mad and deceided it wasent worth it. I would just like to know where the money goes 107 at $10.00 each =$1070 just for one shoot and the prizes are donated. My name is Chris Callison and I may be totaly wrong here maybe their is a reason this money cant be used for prizes for the kids and Iam not to proud to admit if Iam wrong. But just like any parent if you feel your kids are being done wrong you tend to get very angry very fast.
