Default RE: Quebec Winter Caribou Hunting

My experience is that Nov. 15 to about Thanksgiving is a little iffy. I have a friend who hunted out of Kiskimastakin Camp last year Nov. 15-19 and did well. They saw nothing for the first two days and then all of a sudden the animals were there. That camp is past the Lafarge dam and is north a little of Nouchime and Mirage. The guys who guide for the fly in hunts out of Mirage said that the rut was a little early last year although I don't know if that had any effect on timing of the migration.
