My black lab calmed down a bit at the 2 year old mark. She had to go thru some serious obedience training that started at 7 months. She got too rough to handle when outdoors. She did great and learned very fast. They just take lots of patience! Unlike kids, at least we can put them in a kennel til they calm down.
