didn't go this year, but last year we were booked to leave on Sunday, when Saturday was cancelled, we decided to get a start on the 13 hour ride. when we checked out they did NOT charge us for Saturday night even though we checked out after the checkout time.

If you went knowing that you might have to stay, and didn't reserve for the full time, then you took a gamble and lost.
