Default RE: shooting broadheads?

I would just use mechanical broadheads, I use Rocket 100 grain hammerheads, I sight my bow in with 100 grain field tips, I never shot my mechanicals at a target to see where they shoot in difference to my field tips, But I have never missed a dear or turkey even shots as far as 40 yards.
I would get the bow in tune first and then if wanted use mechanicals.
They are good broadheads but not a bandaid for a poorly tuned setup. A poorly tuned setup will fling fieldpoints in a tight group but will show its ugly head as soon as you put some blades on the front of an arrow.
To get the best performance from any head tune the setup and spin test the heads/arrows. Mechs work best from a well tuned bow...
