Default RE: Arrow Rest Nostalgia

I still wish they made the plungerrest. I would sure like to try one on my Protec. I do like my cavalier and plunger. And I get tight groups too. I tried shooting with a release a few years back. And just missed the simplicity of shooting fingers with a flipper plunger. I even tried carbons for the first time this week I bought a 1/2 doz. CX terminators. and I think I hate them I was shooting pretty good groups with a few more flyers than with my XX78s. Then I took a break and put on a couple of broads heads on and shot a nice 2 ft. group. Not to mention almost getting a hernia trying to pull the darn things out of my 3-D target. I went back in and got some aluminums and shot better and the cold aluminum shafts felt good on my hands. After getting friction burns pulling the Carbons out of my target.
Another old finger rest that I have is the GFK Pro button. Simular to the plungerrest but not as good. I actually bought it only a couple of years ago I was pretty disapointed. The instructions look like they were printed in the 70s. It fell apart pretty fast.
