I agree with HK. Yes, the .17HRM will "take off", but not because it fills any real need. It is, like Jeff Cooper said of the double-action semiauto handgun, "a brilliant solution to a nonexistent problem"!! It has one real drawback, as far as I'm concerned. It can't be handloaded!! Therefore unacceptable!!
