Guys,
First off, I was thinking of trying some LaCrosse boots this year, and was wondering what model everyone likes? I don't want rubber boots, but regular leather/cordura style boots.
Does LaCrosse use Gore Tex? I can't tell, because the boots I've seen don't say Gore Tex, they just say "waterproof". I don't want a boot that just treats the leather to be temporarily waterproof.
Also, EVERY pair of Rocky's that I've ever owned, ended up leaking by the end of the season. I NEVER punctured them or anything like that, but they just ended up leaking where the sole's meet the boot itself.
How about Danner boots, compared with LaCrosse?
I'm looking for a HIGH quality boot, that WILL NOT end up leaking.
They will be used for cold weather in GA, so insulation is needed.
