If you have the money to spend on it, then do it. You really get the extra shot especially with the custom loads. I push 3 ounces of lead out the barrel with each shot. I can get about 10 extra yards with this gun.

But you must understand, I did some consulting work and got about half of the price knocked off of my SP10. If it weren't for that, I'd probably still be using my old Rem 870 12 GA.

Also, the lighter gun will definitely have some recoil with heavy turkey loads. 1 3/4 ounce duck loads I can shoot all day long, but the 3 ounce babies... no way! And that's with a relatively heavy gun. Won't matter in the woods, but it can affect your patterning if you're not careful.
