one other thing to consider that I think I read on hear before is to wear the right kind of clothes for the horse riding. If I remember right you don't want jeans with the seam on the inside or it will rub the inside of your legs raw. If that happens, it will be just as bad as blisters on your feet. It will even make it tought to walk. My dad has taken along a shooting stick that he uses as a walking stick too. He also shot a 6x6 using a plastic bypod that clamps onto your barell (carry it in your pocket...its very light... and put it on when you are sitting or if you have time when you stalk one).
