I agree with everything that noway said.
I would still bring the bi-pod. Ask the outfitter what his typical day of hunting is like? I am guessing he will say we are on horseback & riding 1 to 2-hours before daylight. You will ride to a certain spot & wait for legal shooting time. You will ride some more, then you will tie up the horses & hunt on foot. You will hunt on foot most of the morning.
The evening hunt is where I think you will might want the bi-pod? Most outfitters will take you to a spot in the evening where you will just sit & wait. You will glass a open park that the elk feed in. This is where a bi-pod is nice to have. Do you need a bi-pod? NO but a solid rest is nice to have.
Your bi-pod most likely will not get used. I have only used mine twice elk hunting. Could I have gotten by without it? Yes. Was I glad I had it at the time? Yes. Do I still carry one? Yes.
