Remington: Plastic bottom metal - Non controled action - flimsy pressed sheet metal extractor - Plastic sprayed on finish -Safty built into sheet metal trigger -trigger does tripple duty,also a bolt stop and a safty Non field strippable bolt. Requires a special tool. I like remington but they have cut so many corners that I almost always take Winchester hunting with me. Dont like taking chances with second best. (I and two friends have had trouble with new remington plunger ejectors sticking)
