Default RE: winchester ballistic silvertips

First, there is no such thing as "knock down power". A bullet is not going to knock down anything the size of a deer no matter how big it is or how fast it is going. Sometimes you get lucky and drop one where it stands simply because you either broke the spine, both shoulders, or everything happend perfectly at that perfect split second in time.

I remember reading about someone that held a steel plate in front of them while someone else shot at it with a rifle. The mans arms hardly moved when the bullet impacted. 2000 foot pounds sounds like a lot of energy and it is but a bullet is a very light weight object and it delivers that energy in an animal over time and sheds its energy as it travels through the animal.

Second, the 130 grain ballistic tip bullets are perfectly suited for whitetails or any other deer size game.
