I've heard how much more exciting it is to shoot a deer from the ground than a tree. Well I was out scouting last night and this field that I hunt has a BIG blow down in it from the hurricane last fall. Seems like the deer are using that as cover from the road when they go from the woods in to the corn. Tracks were 20-30 yds from the tree and it's the perfect spot for a ground blind.

The tree has a big fork in it so I'm gonna sit in between there, set up some good camo and a chair and shoot down the field. I can't wait, I think it'll be awesome!!!!
