I have used 5" feathers or vanes on all my arrows for over 35 years. I just tried out the Quick Spin vanes and I think that they realy work. I always shot heavy bows with heavy shafts (2317-2419) and either the Zwickey delta's or 180 grain Snuffers and realy needed the stability of 5" fletching. Two years ago I switched to the 125 Grain Montec G5 and love them. I took some of my old Snuffers out and shot them from my Ovation (74Lbs, 2975 Goldtips) the arrows flew very good and grouped together, of course they were not where my 125 grain set up hits but the arrows flew great.
