Man you're lucky. Not trying to be a pain in the butt you understand..... BUT .... I thought the chicken was a protected bird in Virginia. How can you justify breaking the law buy killing the chicken just to recover a wounded tomatoe? The chicken was only doing what comes naturally to him, "pecking and scratching". Incidently.... here is how it's suppose to be done. Notice the exit wound left by the mechanical on this Roma Plum variety. You'll also note the relaxed full displayed tongue that insures it was a swift painless end.
