I recently bought a Remington 510 for $40 at an auction. I refinished the stock including adding a walnut rootwood foreend tip and replaced the plastic (broken) but pad with a 1/4" thk recoil pad and it looks gorgeous.

It also got a high polish hot blue job. Thank goodness I can do all this myself or that gun would be way too expensive now.
