I hunt elk with a 60# Mathews MQ-32 shooting Bemans ICSH carbons with fixed blade broadheads. This is more than adequate as long as the shot placement is good.

Even though my brother and I shoot identical arrows, I have higher arrow speed (and therefor greater energy) with my 60# bow than he does with his older generation 70# bow.
