Just to make sure I understand the question, you are talking about field dressing (gutting) the deer on the ground aren't you? This is not very difficult to do and I'm sure most people field dress their deer on the ground.

If you are talking about processing your deer then that is another story. I'm sure it can be done but by someone with much more experience than I.
