I tend to agree with bigbulls also. I personally don't see a need for the WSMs. Not that there is anything wrong with them. Don' want to start a riot or anything. Just my opinion.
I usually grab my .270 or my 7mm-08 for most of my hunting. If I need anything bigger I grab the 300 Win Mag. And if I don't want to lug that one around and I know the ranges will be <100 yds or so, I grab the little 45-70 guide gun with the Williams peep.
Being a southpaw I'm sort of limited to caliber selection for std. production guns but if I get another rifle it will probably be a .338 or maybe even a .416 or .375 H&H. You never know when a rogue elephant or cape buffalo may come charging through my neck of the PA woods!!!
