I've fought this battle with my Knight when using 777 powder and I've found only 2 solutions so far.

The Breech Plug tape does a great job! Also the CVA Slick Grease Plug/Nipple Grease will get the job done too. No other grease or anti-seize I've tried have worked well with 777 for me.
