It'd take a lot more than a few extra fps of arrow speed to entice me into any activity that had the possibility of making me pull one of those Rip Van Winkle stunts.

Some people need to stop and smell the roses... Personally I don't care what people shoot, and contrary to the apparant assumption, I'd love to fling some arrows outa the set up he described, to satisfy my own curiousity.
I have a very open mind, and am of the personal opinion that with modern materials and construction processes, doing so is not nearly as dangerous as it once.
However, I'm totally satisfied with the my current 30 yard trajectory, pendulum sight aim and shoot performance and arrow energy penetration potential, so my need for speed is not near what it once was...
