Cover it in oil and heat the heck out of it or just cook only bacon and sausage in it for a few weeks. If you oil and heat it, it will smoke a lot. The trick is only cook very greasy meat in it and never use soap to clean it. Hot water only. After while it is better than any no stick skillet you buy.
