The M1 Garand trumps them all
. Not to be nasty, but DUHH! The Garand is at least two generations further along in small arms technology. Not exactly a fair comparison to look at a rifle that entered service in 1936 vs one that entered service in 1891.
I kind of lean towards the Mannlicher and Schmidt Rubin straight pulls myself. Neat rifles, and the Mannlicherssaw a lot more service than most people know.
I do have a bunch of others, and like shooting and hunting with them as well. Currently have 18 Mosin Nagants, and my bad weather hunting rifle is a home made MN 91/30 sniper. Primary hunting rifle is a Swede M38 that somebody sportered.
